Description

This Python function is supposed to count even numbers but has a bug:


def is_even(n):
    return n % 2 == 1  # BUG: should be == 0

def count_evens(numbers):
    return sum(1 for n in numbers if is_even(n))

Input: [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11]


The even numbers in this list are: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10.


Question: What is the correct count of even numbers?


Answer format: Single integer.
